finding creativity in the age of ai
Nick Harauz’s forthcoming book, Finding Creativity in the Age of AI, offers a fresh perspective on navigating the creative process in a world increasingly shaped by tech and artificial intelligence. Drawing from his latest course, this book is designed to help individuals not only integrate AI into their workflows but also strengthen their creative muscles without relying on technology. Through insightful exercises, Nick helps readers measure their creative potential, focusing on the foundational skills that drive ingenuity, innovation, and originality.
This book emphasizes that while AI can be a powerful tool, true creativity starts first with one self. Nick guides readers through ways to foster their own ideas, tap into inspiration, and develop creative resilience in any field—be it art, design, or business. Whether you’re an artist looking to break through creative blocks or a professional seeking to sharpen your thinking, Finding Creativity in the Age of AI equips you with practical strategies to harness both human creativity and AI.

At the suggestion of yourself at the end of your course, I’m dropping you a note. A big THANK YOU note. I am one of the video post production people soon to be displaced by all these new tools, and I felt left in the dark that I wasn’t caught up with the times. Watching your entire course (up in the air, in flight, no less) was EXACTLY what I was looking for to be “caught up.” Seriously, I feel like Neo after getting kung-fu downloaded into his brain in one shot.
“Whoa. I know AI for video content creation.”
I particularly liked your closing statement; it was both a melancholy state of the times/reality check that I needed to hear (and not be in denial about anymore), but also uplifting and inspirational. Ideas have already been incepted in my mind.
Anyway, thank you!
Erik
I just finished your course on AI and Generative AI for Content Creation and left both fascinated and mildly terrified? I think its a healthy mix considering its newness and continually discussed ethics. I have a background in television post production and am also a writer. I find myself marveling at the resources and tools available to assist with color correction and enhancing field audio.
As far as the GenAI voice creator, in some instances I can see how it is beneficial but in the wrong hands or for the wrong uses it has terrifying repercussions. I am grateful for your inclusion of the ethics section, I too wonder what will happen to the human nuances in content creation.
Thank you for creating the course, as it opened my eyes further to what the future of post production may look like and the vast amount of tools being created.
